A happy scene of aquatic life, designed to bring a sense of calm to young patients in this room on the children’s ward of Lismore Base Hospital. This mural depicts the whales who were, at the time of painting, migrating up the coast at nearby Byron Bay for winter. I included the Byron lighthouse in the background, as a beacon of hope for healing.
